Welcome to White Cottage. We offer you a peaceful and relaxing stay in a lovely, spacious, two hundred year old cottage with lots of character and a friendly atmosphere. It is set in its own grounds of approximately six acres which you are welcome to explore or relax in and enjoy the views over the surrounding countryside. There is plenty of off the road parking. Stabling and grazing is available for people wishing to explore the area on horseback. White Cottage is on the edge of the Derbyshire Dales Peak District and convenient for Sudbury and Kedleston Halls, Calke Abbey, Alton Towers, Carsington Reservoir and Chatsworth House. |

We offer a pleasantly decorated, colour coordinated, ground floor double room which overlooks the garden and surrounding countryside. The ensuite room has a bath shower and a colour television. We provide a freshly cooked full English breakfast and are happy to meet requirements of special diets, snacks or packed lunches by prior arrangements. Tea and coffee making facilities are available throughout your stay. We make every effort to ensure you have a comfortable stay. |

Wyaston is a small peaceful village surrounded by open countryside and
local walks. The local pub/restaurant serves excellent food and is
within five minutes walking distance from the cottage. There are also
numerous other good local pubs in the area. The attractive market town of Ashbourne, with shops, galleries, pubs, restaurants, sports centre, swimming pool and tennis courts is 2 miles away. Ashbourne’s nine hole golf course is only one mile away. |
